PINK WITCH

This spunky witch was made following the design by the fantastic Ross Tran of Ross Draws. She was featured as part of his 1 million subscriber “Draw This In Your Style” challenge on his Instagram.

I have always loved this design because it’s fun and attractive. The gesture creates a lot of fun opportunities to explore anatomy and form that you don’t get on many other designs. My hope someday is to take her through the full surfacing/look-development pipeline as well to really pull her into her fullest appeal.

Modeled in Maya and ZBrush. Rendered in Arnold for Maya. There is a Sketchfab window below for you to view the model.

This is my entry from RedrawRossDraws on Instagram for his 1 MILLION follower milestone. I was elated when he reached out to me and asked if he could highlight my piece as part of his lineup of favorites. I built her out in ZBrush, and brought her over into Maya for some additional render capability.
